Shibaura Machine laid the foundation stone for the UNIT-II of Shibaura Machine India adjacent to the existing unit in Chembarambakkam, Chennai. The foundation stone was laid by Mr. Yukio Iimura, Chairman, Shibaura Machine Co Ltd. along with Mr. Shigetomo Sakamoto, President of Shibaura Machine Co. Ltd. and Mr. Hiroaki Ota, Chief Financial Officer, Shibaura Machine Co. Ltd. presided over by Mr. M. Kumar, Managing Director, Shibaura Machine India Private Limited. Leaders from Government of Tamilnadu and from Government bodies participated in the grand function that marked the beginning of yet another success story of Shibaura Machine in India.
